Copying what the big guys do is only wise if they'd do it for the same reasons, else it's just cargo cult
If Git was like Ansible, Git could only apply commits but not show you a diff whatsoever.
Ansible's idemptotency is worth little if you don't know the total state of the system.
Setting out to harmonize config between different projects is a fool's errand.
\(1W * 24 *365 / 1000 = 8.76 kWh/y\)
\(8.76kWh/y * 0.25 MU/kWh = ~2MU /year\)
\(\frac{8.76*0.25kWh * MU}{y*kWh} = ~2MU /year\)
\(\frac{2.19\cancel{kWh} * MU}{y*\cancel{kWh}} = ~2MU /year\)
TotalBW / size (B) = TDriveW
TDriveW / 5*365Days = DWPD (typical warranty period)
TDriveW / 2e3 = DWPD
TotalBW / size(B) / 2e3 = DWPD
TotalBW / size(B)*e-3 / 2 = DWPD
TBW / size(GB) / 2 = DWPD
